Our Staff Our counsellors are professionally qualified and skilled and experienced in the field of alcohol and drug misuse. They act as a team to increase the knowledge and understanding of each client, encouraging and motivating them to work towards their agreed objectives. We use the Hawkins & Sohet model of management supervision which involves all members of staff. As the programme has a very wide range of interventions, our staff are encouraged to continually upgrade their skills to keep up-to-date with best practice. Complementing the counselling team are support workers, kitchen and clerical staff, a number of which are studying for professional qualifications. Staff vacancies We will consider candidates for a placement position. Volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to assist the client group in gaining or enhancing appropriate life skills in preparation for leaving Sefton Park . We are particularly interested in approaches from people with a medical, teaching or social services background. Please contact us with your details if you are interested in further information with regard to working at Sefton Park. click on the links below to download a staff application form: other pages in this section: |
